Identify - Exception reporting provides the reason why a record didn't match (ie. 'check already cleared', 'Bank amount and G/L amount differ', 'O/S Check'), enabling users to prioritize for high-exposure items, as well as speeding up research.
Track - Unmatched items persist until matched ('roll-over' to the next period)
Resolve - Match exceptions using our 'Point and Click' Matching Window. Enable for tolerance amounts and balancing / offset entries.
1. Prepare Excel files with your first month's transaction activity from your Bank, from your General Ledger and an Outstanding Check List from the prior period (if you have one).
2. Import the files using our Import Wizard
3. Run a reconciliation report. You'll be prompted to enter your beginning and ending balances, and the system will run the default matching rules. If you're out of balance, the system will recommend and enter an adjustment. You're done!
