Overview

 

Deleting an account has a different effect depending on if you're using the Desktop platform or the SQL Server platform.

 

On the desktop, following the steps below will delete the account entirely.  All data imported into the account will be lost.

 

On the SQL Server platform, the steps below will remove the account from the local catalog.  It will be inaccessible on that workstation, but the data will still reside on the SQL Server.  It can be accessed again by adding the database back to the workstation.

 

Steps

 

Select File from the main menu, then Maintenance.

 

Select the "List of Accounts" tab, then the "Delete Accounts" tab.

 

Delete account

 

 

Click the gray box to the left of the account to be deleted.  The row will be highlighted in blue. Click the "Delete" button.

 

A dialog box will be displayed to confirm the deletion.  Click Yes to confirm the deletion, No to cancel deletion and retain the account.
