The PBR Standard Entry Class code allows for the transmission of consumer cross-border ACH debit and credit transactions. This SEC code enables such payments to be easily identified so financial institutions can apply special handling requirements as needed.

The PBR format accommodates specific information pertaining to cross-border payments such as: foreign exchange conversion, origination and destination currency and country codes.

Note: Information below assumes you are using a Profile-Based import.  If you are not (using Ad Hoc instead), you must also import an account number as ACH_Account and an ABA/Routing Number as ACH_Routing_ABA. The below screenshot uses a name-based lookup to link each entry to a customer, employee, or vendor profile.

The mappings for remaining fields required to use PBR are:

Name as ACH_Name_Internal (Profile Lookup)
Amount as Amount (use Amount if amounts are being paid out and are negative OR are being collected and are positive, otherwise Amount_Reverse_Sign)
