POP - Point of Purchase Entry

The POP ACH Debit application is used by Originators as a method of payment for the in-person purchase of goods and services by consumers. The Single Entry Debits are created by the originator based on written authorization and account information from a source document (check) obtained from the consumer at the point-of-purchase.

The source document is voided by the merchant and returned to the consumer at the point-of-purchase is used to collect the information required to create the ACH Debit entry to the consumer's account.
