Overview

 

ACH Universal upgrades are released periodically to enhance functionality and offer new features.  Follow the steps below to upgrade your workstation.

 

Backup Data

 

Before beginning the upgrade, back up all databases.  These are the .brd files contained in the C:\Program Files\TreasurySoftware\Data directory.  Copy each .brd file to a different directory.

 

Download Upgrade Installer

 

The upgrade installer is always located at http://treasurysoftware.com/Setup/setup_current_upgrade.exe Download the file and save to local hard drive.

 

Install Upgrade

 

Run the installer file. Enter the upgrade password when prompted.  If you do not have the password, please contact the Support Department at (866) 226-5732.

 

Allow the installer to complete.

 

Upgrade Individual Accounts

 

Run ACH Universal.  On the Main Screen, select any account from the account dropdown box.  This can be the Sample account or any user-created account.  You will be immediately prompted to upgrade all databases to the current version.  Verify that each account is selected with a checkmark and click Finish.

 

When the upgrade is finished, exit and restart ACH Universal.
