instructions assume that a new Treasury Software version will be
used going forward. If you will be using the same Treasury Software
version, please adjust the instructions accordingly.

Move the databases from the old server to the new server.
Install the new version of Treasury Software (client) on a test
machine and connect to the new server.
Rollout - Install the new version of Treasury Software (client)
on production workstations.
Prepare and backup your databases on the old server.
1. Transmit any untransmitted ACH transactions in ACH Universal.
Exit the software.
2. Backup the current SQL 2000 databases per your corporate policies.
Move the databases from the old server to the new server.
1. Unmount the databases
2. Copy/move the databases to the new server. Note: Do not move
the sample database.
3. Mount the databases on the new server.
4. Grant security permissions to the newly mounted databases. Make
sure that you have proper login IDs and have granted permission
to the BankRecPosPayUser group in each database. For more detailed
information, see the steps in SQL
Server Instructions.
Install the new version of Treasury Software (client) on a test
machine and connect to the new server.
1. Download the new version of Treasury Software from the link below
and save on a network drive.
http://www.treasurysoftware.com/download.aspx
2. Install the software on a workstation which is not currently
using Treasury Software.
3. Start the software. From the 'Welcome New User' screen, select
the application you are using (ACH, Bank Reconciliation or Positive
Pay).
4. From the main menu select 'File', 'Migrate to SQL'. Point to
the new server and complete the wizard. Exit and reenter to reinitialize.

bank account (database) and prompt you to create the 'sample' account.
Create both accounts.
6. From the main menu select 'File', 'New', 'Add an Existing Account'.
Select the account(s) you migrated from the old server to the new
server. If you have upgraded your Treasury Software version, the
system may update the accounts at this time.
7. Have your primary user(s) confirm the data in the upgraded account.
Rollout - Install the new version of Treasury Software (client)
on production workstations.
Repeat the steps below for each client workstation which needs software
1. Uninstall the old version
Using Windows Explorer, navigate to c:\Program Files\ and note the
directory where Treasury Software was installed.
Uninstall Treasury Software using the Microsoft Window's Control
Panel's 'Add / Remove Software'.
Return to Windows Explorer and confirm the directory has been deleted.
If not (there may be temporary files inside), delete the directory
using Windows Explorer.
2. Perform steps 2, 3, 4 and 6 from the section above.
3. Enter new license codes into each workstation.
From the main menu select 'File', 'Enter License Codes'. Enter the
codes and click 'Register'.
Tips:
The #1 issue in any upgrade is security.
--Make sure that you have a system administrator login ID before
starting
--Create/arrange for logins for all users
--Confirm that the BankRecPosPayUser group has been granted rights
to each database
and
--don't rollout to the users until you have fully tested the new
system.
Congratulations!
