Uninstalling Treasury Software for an upgrade
The following instructions apply to the Desktop platform and for
SQL Express and SQL Server client workstations.
1. Backup data (Desktop only)
--a. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the directory where the
data is stored. Depending on your version, this can be:
C:\Program Files\Treasury Software\Data
C:\Program Files\Treasury Software\Treasury Desktop\Data
C:\Users\Public\Treasury Software\Data (Vista and Windows 7)
--b. Copy the entire Data folder, and its contents, to a network
drive folder or other backup location.
2. Remove license
--a. Start the software and enter into any account. From the main
menu select 'Help', then 'About'. Write down your license ID. Close
this window.
--b. From the program main menu select 'File', 'Enter License Codes',
then click on 'Remove License'. This will increase your available
license count by one workstation. Exit the software.
3. Using Windows Control Panel - uninstall Treasury Software
4. Using Windows Explorer delete the program folder
Windows XP, Windows 2000 users - Delete the following directory:
C:\Program Files\Treasury Software
Vista, Windows 7 users - Delete both of the following directories:
C:\Program Files\Treasury Software
C:\Users\Public\Treasury Software
